Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use StorySeed AI Picture Book. Last updated: October 21, 2026.
1. About the Service
StorySeed AI Picture Book ("the App") generates personalized illustrated stories from information you provide about your child. Generated content is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and you are responsible for all activity under it. If you use the App on behalf of a child, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian. Keep your login credentials secure.
3. AI-Generated Content
Stories and illustrations are produced by artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected. Please provide only the information needed for the story: a first name, an age, and a few interests. Do not enter sensitive personal data such as identity numbers, addresses or contact details.
4. Content Rules and Reporting
You may not create or publish content that is violent, sexual, hateful, discriminatory, infringing, or otherwise unlawful. Stories are private by default; only content you choose to make public can be seen by others. Any user can report a story from its page, and we review reports and remove violating content.
5. Purchases and Refunds
On iOS, purchases are processed by Apple In-App Purchase. Billing and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies, and we cannot issue refunds directly for App Store purchases — please request refunds through Apple. On other platforms (web, mini programs), purchases follow the rules of the respective payment provider. Prices shown at checkout are the prices that apply.
6. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time in the App under Account Settings. After deletion the account can no longer be accessed, and we remove directly identifying information such as your nickname, avatar and contact details. Transaction records may be retained in de-identified form where required for accounting and compliance. Deletion is permanent.
7. Availability and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is". Third-party AI services or network failures may cause generation to fail; when that happens we restore the corresponding generation credit or purchase. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
